Altec Lansing iM310 Portable Speakers

Although the Russian-American novelist and philosopher Ayn Rand wrote a book about “The Virtue of Selfishness”, she probably didn’t mean keeping your own music to yourself. After all, beautiful things, including sounds, ought to be shared. One way of sharing music is through the Altech Lansing iM310 Portable Speakers.
The iM310 is a small speaker with measurements of approximately 11.5 inches in width, 6 inches in height, and 2.5 inches in depth. And with a weight on only a shade over 2 pounds, it is conveniently portable. You can take it virtually everywhere –to your garden as you and your family and friends gather around your outdoor fireplace on a cold night, to the beach while playing volleyball or just getting a tan, or even to the mountains and campsites if you need a breath of fresh air.
In spite of its size and weight, the iM310 is big on sound. It has a clear audio and a bass that would seem too deep for its compact size. It’s not earth-shattering but if you simply want great sounds in the background while you are with your friends, the iM310 is an excellent option.
A dock in front of the speaker along with docking adapters is compatible with iPod Mini, iPod Nano from 1 to 4G, iPod Classic, from 3 to 6G, and iPod Touch 1 and 2G. These models, including those with an alarm clock and sleep timer, are re-charged as they are used with the iM310. The dock can be folded into the speaker when not in use. For other MP3 players and iPod models that cannot be docked, such as the Shuffle, an auxiliary input jack is available.
Powered by three size AA batteries, you can continually run the Altec Lansing iM310 Portable Speakers for up to 48 hours before you need fresh or freshly-charged replacements. If you have an electric power source, you can use the AC adapter that is included with the unit.
