The case is made of hard plastic measuring 7.5″ H x 2.5″ D x 4.5″ W that is wrapped around the edges with a thick rubber ring. This is meant to absorb the impact of a fall thus keeping your MP3 player safe and sound. Given its size, the Eco Extreme case is large enough to accommodate most MP3 players and cell phones including the iPod, iPhone, Motorola Droid, and Blackberry. Even with your player inside, there is still enough room for your credit cards, cash, driver’s license, or keys inside.
Perhaps the best part about it is that it has its own speaker with an output of 3W RMS. It connects to your player with a universal 1/8-inch headset jack. Powered by three size AA batteries, the speaker can run for 30 hours providing you with music both up and down the mountains. It will not give you concert-like sounds but when you’re busy putting one leg before the other or furiously pedaling uphill, your workout music will sound just as great.
