Griffin Technology TuneFlex Aux with SmartClick

Griffin Technology TuneFlex Aux with SmartClick

Listening to your favorite music from your iPhone/iPod can help you ward off boredom and sometimes sleepiness while driving long distances. If you have companions, you probably would want to share your sounds with them. And if it is really a long drive, you will not want your player to run out of gas before you or your car does.

The Griffin TuneFlex Aux with SmartClick is a perfect companion for such long drives.

It features a steering wheel-mounted remote control so you won’t have to take your hands off the wheel while choosing, skipping, pausing, or shuffling songs, and dimming the backlight of the iPod during night driving. The buttons’ markings are raised so you can tell them apart from each other without looking and so you can keep your eyes on the road. A Velcro strap fastened to a plastic base is wrapped around the steering wheel, while the remote itself is attached to the base by a magnet.

Your companions can also enjoy your iPhone’s/iPod’s music using your car stereo system. Included with the TuneFlex is a line-input cable measuring three feet that connects the iPhone/iPod to the aux input of the car stereo allowing the use of the car speakers. If it does not have this input jack, however, you will have to use a cassette adapter as the TuneFlex does not have an FM transmitter.

Another item that comes with the TuneFlex is a dock for your iPhone/iPod that consists of a cigarette lighter plug, flexible shaft, and connector that attaches to eight acrylic adapters meant to accommodate all iPhone/iPod models manufactured in the last three years. This does not only supply continuous power to the player’s batteries, but also keeps them fully charged.
