The beach towel is made of 100% cotton with measurements of approximately 70 x 30, both in inches. On one end of the towel is a sewn-in pocket where a removable small pillow in inserted. It is in this pillow that a pair of speakers is embedded. The two individual units are spaced apart in way that when you lay your head on the pillow, they are just beside your ears. This eliminates the need for headphones or earplugs and their pesky wires crawling on your shoulders.
The speakers have a power of 2W/4 ohms, with a frequency response ranging from 100Hz to 20KHz. Although this bandwidth falls short of the ideal figures for high fidelity audio, the sound reproduction is excellent given the size of the speakers. They are powered by a lithium ion battery that can run for hours. Recharging is through a USB port. A 3.5 mm universal jack connects the speakers with any MP3 player with a compatible port, including iPods and iPhones.
