This Kensington product consists of a docking station, mini battery pack, USB charging and syncing cable, and AC-USB wall adapter.
The docking station has two slots –one for your iPhone or iPod and another for the supplied mini battery pack. You can embed either your iPhone or iPod and the battery pack into the slots, connect the USB cable to the dock, and you are ready to charge both simultaneously. You will have to plug the USB cable to an electric power outlet using the AC-USB wall adapter. You can choose to plug the USB cable directly to a computer but this will deliver electric power to only one slot at a time, with the iPhone or iPod getting priority.
The mini battery pack connects to your iPhone or iPod’s dock connector and powers them up with an extra three hours of talk time, six hours of video playback, and up to 30 hours of audio. This means you won’t feel isolated even if you are on a mountain top, and you won’t have to settle for the sounds of crickets or owls for music.
