With its extra small tapered earpieces wrapped in oval ear tips made of soft and supple material that you can barely feel them, Klipsch Image S4 Earphones assure you of a comfortable feel in your ears as you enjoy your favorite music. Combined with the cord and plug, the earpieces weigh only 0.4 oz. further contributing to the ease of wearing them. As their bent shape keeps them from falling off even when you use them on your runs or hikes. The strain relief design of the cord provides durability preventing the cord from pulling away from the gold plated 3.5 mm plug. A slider at the upper section of the cable helps untangle and untwist the cords.
The ear tips not only provide comfort. They also seal your ears excluding all noise and sound. This noise isolation seals your ears and allows you to lower speaker volume making it easier on your eardrums. The Image S4 comes with three different ear tips –a double-flanged design suitable for small to medium-sized ear canals, and one each medium and large single-flanged design. These are washable and a cleaning tool is included with the earphones.
A set of dual-magnet microspeakers is incorporated into each earpiece that is capable of producing booming bass. It may not be exactly heart-thumping but for its size, not to mention price range, it is extraordinary. If its low end is good, so is its upper end.
