Philips SHE9850 In-Ear Headphones

Made of soft flexi-grip silicone and angled at just the right bend, the ear buds of the Philips SHE9850 In-Ear Headphones fit comfortably inside your ears that they almost feel like they are not there at all. After a thorough study of the anatomy of the human ear, the designers of Philips concluded that a 15° tilt provides the most natural and comfortable fit. Since, however, not all ear canals are of the same size, the SHE9850 comes with three sizes of interchangeable silicon caps –small, medium, and large.
The sleeves are made of slow recovery foam that provides a more snug fit than the usual rubber caps of other earphones. When compressed between the fingers, they stay at their compressed state allowing you to easily insert them into your ears. After this, they gradually regain their normal sizes thus sealing your ear canals adapting to their contours. To a certain extent, this helps isolate a good amount of ambient sound.
The comfortable feel of the earphones is matched by its excellent sound quality. A high-definition transducer converts the electrical impulses from the music player into sounds using a coil, a u-shaped armature made of metal, two permanent magnets, a drive rod, and a diaphragm. Alterations in the armature’s polarity due to electromagnetic currents move the drive rod and diaphragm thus producing the sounds.
Sound generated by the Philips SHE9850 In-Ear Headphones is excellent in all aspects –from the highs, through the mids, to the bass. You can distinctly hear the detail of acoustic guitars with metal strings, soft vocals, and thumping bass for a balanced audio.
As a bonus, the headphones come with an attractive metal carrying case which stores and protects them when not in use. Its cable bank provides a space where you can neatly wind the 4-feet long headphone cable.
