Scosche IDR355m Earphones

Scosche IDR355m Earphones

The earphones that come with your iPod or iPhone are of good quality but for people who are truly discriminating when it comes to audio, good is nowhere near enough. It is for this reason that there are third-party companies who manufacture and market earphones with vastly improved audio specifically designed for iPods and iPhones. One of these is the Scosche IDR355m Earphones.

IDR stands for “Increased Dynamic Range” and indeed, this is exactly what the Schosche earphone does. With it you can distinctly identify the different pitches and loudness of the music, from the shrilly highs through the smooth mids and resonating bass.

The Scosche IDR355m Earphones feature a tapLINE II Control mounted on the wire close to the earphone that allows you to play, reset the volume, pause, and skip tracks without touching your player. Simply pressing the + and – buttons adjusts volume while the multifunction center button is used to control music and video playback.

On the back is an integrated microphone allowing hands-free conversation. It also works with iPod and iPhone models that support voice commands, as well as activate the VoiceOver feature of the 3rd Generation iPod Shuffle.

To give your earphone a distinctive look, six color caps come with it, which are easily interchanged. The colors are blue, chrome, clear, green pink, and red. Inserts are available in small, medium, and large sizes and are made of single and dual flanged silicone. These assure excellent noise isolation and comfort.

The IDR355 is compatible with iPhone 3GS, Generation 3 iPod shuffle, Generation 2 iPod touch, Generation 4 and 5 iPod nano, iPod classic (120 GB) and Mac computers purchased after Oct 2008.

As a bonus, a travel pouch is included.
