Scosche passPORT Charging Adapter for iPod and iPhone
Some iPod interfaces in car integration systems, backup battery devices, and other accessories do not support USB charging and thus cannot be used to power up and recharge the lithium ion batteries of the iPod Nano 4G, iPod Touch 2G, iPhone 3G, and iPods released prior to September 2008.
