Scosche PCA1 Cassette Adapter for MP3 Players

If you drive an older model automobile, chances are that its stereo system does not have a CD player or a provision for auxiliary inputs. It probably has a cassette player that was very popular before the advent of CD’s. Most, if not all, cassette players do not have a jack for an interface with MP3 players. However, with a little help from the Scosche PCA1 Cassette Adapter for MP3 Players, you can still use your car’s audio system to play and listen to your favorite tunes stored in your iPod, Zune, Sandisk, or any other player, including a CD player, that has a 3.5 mm headphone jack.
The PCA1 Cassette Adapter consists of a cassette-like shell that contains a write head. This head converts audio received as electronic signals from your MP3 player into a magnetic field. This field is then detected by the read head of your car’s cassette player and converted back into electronic signals that are sent to the speakers.
All you need to do is to plug the cord attached to the cassette adapter into your MP3 or CD player’s output or headphone jack, insert the other end into the cassette player, and you are set to go. While playing, it will even charge your player so that you can continue listening after alighting from your automobile.
