Soundfreaq SFQ-1 Sound Platform

Smart phones are slowly taking over the functions of other electronic gadgets. In addition to being phones, they have become cameras, GPS devices, TV sets, computers, and of course MP3 players. Multi-tasker is a very apt word to describe them, and that is why it seems rather out of line to tie them down to a speaker dock when listening to music. With the Soundfreaq SFQ-1 Sound Platform, you can listen to your favorite sounds on big speaker while sending text messages to your friends or browsing the Net.
The Soundfreaq SFQ-1 features Bluetooth Class 2.0 Stereo A2DP protocol that allows you to wirelessly stream stereo music from your smart phone into the speaker even while using the phone’s other functions. And you can do this even from 33 feet away. The speaker actually works with any device equipped with a compatible Bluetooth version, whether tablet, laptop, or desktop computer. It can play both music and audio from movies, videos, or TV shows.
In case, however, your iPod or iPhone is running low on power, a 30-pin connector is provided where you can charge it while continuing to listen to your audio. Since the connector has a universal well, you can charge iPod Touch, iPod Nano, and iPod Classic as well.
If your MP3 player is not equipped with a compatible Bluetooth, you can still use the Soundfreaq SFQ-1 because it includes an auxiliary input port for a standard 3.5mm jack. Thus, you can connect virtually any type of music device.
It even includes a built-in FM radio if you are looking for new releases or just want to listen to news about the weather or traffic.
The Soundfreaq SFQ-1 Sound Platform relies on speakers whose voice coils driven by magnets made of a blend of iron and carbon. This allows a longer travel for the diaphragm which results in a deep thumping bass. And with its UQ3 Spatial Sound Enhancement, stereo separation sounds more pronounced in spite of the proximity of the two speakers.
