Zii Sound D5 Wireless Bluetooth Speakers
From the front, it looks like a nondescript black box with a black plastic band wrapped around it at the center. This doubles as a stand and, if you look at the back, you will find a dock attached to it, along with a power button, AUX and AC inputs. Beside this is a bass port for low-end frequencies.
The top of the plastic band is actually the volume control while at its front is a connect switch. On closer examination of the front, you will find two full range speakers concealed by a mesh covering. The ends of the box are fitted with polished metal giving it a classy appearance. This box is the Zii Sound D5 Wireless Bluetooth Speakers.
The D5 measures approximately 17 inches wide, 4.5 high, and 3.5 deep. Owing to its dimensions it easy to find a space for it, or carry it from one place to another. And because of its plain lines and black color, it will merge easily with its surroundings.
The Zii Sound D5 incorporates Bluetooth technology that connects wirelessly with your Bluetooth devices such as your mobile phone or laptop. Using this connection you can play and share your music files with others on the D5. You can do this even from a distance of up to 10 meters. An iPhone, or iPod, can be paired with the BT-D5 Bluetooth transmitter to control the speaker’s volume without taking a step towards it.
High-performance 2.75-inch full range drivers backed up by digital amplifiers deliver excellent sound quality. Heart-thumbing bass is assured with the port at the back of the speakers.
The Zii Sound D5 Wireless Bluetooth Speakers, with its AUX input port, can also connect using wires with MP3 players that are not Bluetooth-enabled. And if your laptop does not have Bluetooth, you can purchase, separately, the Creative BT-D1 Bluetooth USB Transmitter and immediately stream music to the D5. The dock at the back, however, is not for connection to the speaker but only for charging an iPhone or iPod.
